2 bay leaves
4 pods of garlic
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
4 tablespoons of clarified butter (or olive oil)

Step 1: Saute the spinach and mushrooms with half onion, tomato, ginger, and garlic in a pan.

Step 7: Add some salt to taste.
Step 8: For a tangy flavor, you could add some tamarind.
